The City of Neodesha provides full utility services for its residents -- gas, water, electric and sanitary and solid waste services.
Form of Government
Neodesha, with a population of 2,800 has a Commission-Administrator form of government. The government is an elected commission, comprised of a mayor and two commissioners. Each year, one of the three governing body members is elected at-large for a three year term. The City Administrator is appointed by the Governing Body. The City of Neodesha is a member of the League of Kansas Municipalities. For more information on the history of the community, please click on the History link to the left. The City Commission conducts regular business meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 2:00 PM at City Hall located at 1407 N 8th.
