That we shall plan and ensure that sufficient means of transportation and access are available for our public, our businesses and our industries; and
That we shall strive to create an atmosphere that is also enticing to young professionals and their families; and
That we shall assess and be responsive in meeting the health care needs of our community by promoting, improving and restoring health;
That we shall be determined to care for and adequately provide for our elderly population; and
That we shall become more active, as a community, in the political process of our county government and shall strive to steer our county in a progressive direction; and
That we shall encourage the highest levels of mutual respect and civility amongst our citizens; and
That we shall be determined to maintain a superior level of educational and recreational opportunities; and
That we shall groom and landscape all public and private facilities in such a way as to bring about a community-wide beautification that will be a source of pride for all citizens; and
That we shall strive for the eradication of substance abuse in our community; and
That our children shall flourish and find an array of career opportunities available in their hometown; and
That we shall focus extensive attention on the cultivation of a positive self-image in our children and on fostering in them a sense of importance and belonging to the community; and
That our children shall find their community to be a source of immense pride; and finally
That Neodesha shall be the rising star of the region, that we shall be resolved to do all in our power to ensure that long term prosperity and the highest quality of life is attained in our community."
